Story
Janet and Elaine (Louise's mum and sister), some of Louise's friends and family are running/walking the 5K Race for Life at Temple Newsam in Leeds on 26th June. Sam Gibson, Steph Hines, Sally Johnson, Jennie Joplin, Kat Scrivener, Lauren Stone, Janet and Elaine Davis are raising funds in fondest memory of our lovely Louise and all our friends and family who have battled cancer including her Grandad Harry and Aunty Steph. Laura Sanford will be running the Nottingham Half Marathon in Louise's memory, later this summer.Updates

Race Day
26th June 2011We've now completed the race. Hats off to Sam and Steph who jogged the 5K. Elaine, Janet, Lol, Sally, Jenni and Catherine did a brisk power walk round. It was a lovely day for it (though maybe a bit too hot) and there was a great atmosphere (5000 people were there). We enjoyed a well deserved pint afterwards with Andrew, Dave, Lee and baby Zach.

8th June 2011Further training is now underway with a gym visit, swimming, brisk walks and lots of talking for Janet and Elaine.

I'm donating after taking part in Race For Life in June with the Davis family. This money is raised from the pub quiz money at The Five Bells pub in Chelsfield Village, Kent.
We also raised £250 which has gone straight to Cancer Research.
Thanks to all the quiz players who helped us raise this money for a greta cause.
