Story
In honour of our brave and beautiful Louise who sadly passed away on 4th August 2010, a group of people (with varying levels of fitness) will attempt to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on Saturday 18th September 2010. This involves us walking about 25 miles and clambering up three big hills within 12 hours (apparently we’re not technically allowed to call them mountains even though they do look quite high). We are desperately sad that Louise will not be with us to see us complete the challenge but she continues to inspire us and we will walk our socks off in memory of her. Louise showed unbelievable courage and determination after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer and it was her wish that the money we raise be used to tackle this devastating illness. Any sponsorship you are able to give us will therefore go directly to Ovarian Cancer Action. The charity works hard to improve survival rates for women with ovarian cancer through research and awareness. A huge thank you for every penny you can give. Anyone who wants to come along and cheer us on please feel free!
